What I love most about photography are the people you get to meet and the friendships you build along the way. Shooting Ade, Sheena and Curtis a few weeks ago was really, to be perfectly honest, like hanging out with old friends. They fed me some cookies, we chatted about random things, and every now and then, I’d pick up my camera and snap a few shots. I can hardly believe it has almost been two years since Sheena and Curtis got married. I still remember the day I found out they were pregnant, it was on facebook. I remember thinking to myself…Wow, that was fast! Good job guys!! And now, Ade is finally here. I can barely remember the days when it was just Sheena and Curtis alone, just the two of them. I guess it only goes to show how well suited they are for parenthood.
Ade, I know I’m not the first to tell you this. But you DO have an old soul. And every now and then, you’ll flash me and my camera that gummy smile of yours. Oh how that melts all of our hearts!!
Sheena & Curtis, thank you again for allowing me to capture this special time of your lives. You have blessed me in more ways than you know. P.S Curtis, your GIANT double chocolate fudge cookies are delicious! Call me over anytime you guys bake. I will shoot for cookies!
Here’s Ade and his “old soul” look. I love it!
